First Holy Communion 2017
Pupils from the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes and St Malachy made their First Holy Communion on Sunday 18th June 2017.
We would like to say a big 'thank you' to the children, their families and Fr Mahady for their great work throughout the preparation period this year. It was a wonderful day and we were very lucky with the weather! We are extremely proud of you all!
- Miss Hudson and Miss Butterfield
At St Malachy's School, we support our local parish, Our Lady of Lourdes and St Malachy, to provide preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. We welcome children who attend our school as well as pupils from the parish who attend other schools.
We work to ensure that all pupils are engaged in the sessions and see them as an enjoyable and spiritual experience, bringing them closer to God.
If your child in interested in making their First Holy Communion, please contact the school office.
Sessions usually run throughout the Spring and Summer Terms, and children make their First Holy Communion in mid-June.
