Year Curriculum Overview

 Times Tables

Year 4 is an important year for multiplication tables! We encourage children to practise their times tables both at school and at home.

Here are some links to help with multiplication skills:

Children are encouraged to go on TTRockstars as often as they can to practise their times tables. There is a whole school competition for the most correct answers across the week to win the inflatable guitar for the class! If your child needs their log in details then please message Mrs Aslam on Dojo.

 Our Mission and Virtues

Our mission is to do everything 'In the light of the Lord'.

We focus on different virtues throughout the school year and children are encouraged to live out the virtues everyday.

Our Class Text

In class we are currently reading Charlotte's Web by E.B White.

 Reading

Please ensure children bring their reading books and planners to school everyday. If your child reads at home make sure to add a comment, so we can see the amazing home learning they are doing!

PE

Please ensure PE kits are in school every Wednesday and Thursday. PE kits can be taken home every half term to be washed.

 Forest School

Forest School sessions will be every Wednesday morning. Please ensure children have suitable clothing and footwear on this day. If there are any changes to Forest School sessions then you will be made aware as soon as possible.
