Our Teacher is Mr Harper and our Teaching Assistant is Miss Middleton.

Yearly Curriculum Overview


We use Class Dojo as our virtual learning enviornment and as a platform to communicate with the school community. If you have forgotton your password or need help with accessing Class Dojo, please contact Mrs Adams in the school office. 

 

 Homework

Spellings

Spelling homework will be given out each Monday to be returned by the following Monday. 

Times Tables 

Each child has access to Times Tables Rockstars and is asked to complete at 5 mins each day. 

Reading

Children can choose books from school, home or the Library. Children are asked to read at least 10-15 minutes each day either to an adult or independent. 

Class Mission

In Year 5, we have worked together to create our own Class Mission which will sit alongside our School Mission. 

Forest School 

We have Forest School on  Wednesday mornings. Please ensure your children come to school in appropriate clothes and bring their uniform to change into for the afternoon.

 PE

PE is every Friday.

Kits will be kept in school and returned each half term holiday for washing.

 Modern Foreign Language - Spanish

In Year 5 and 6 we are learning Spanish. Check out our conversations in class. 

 Northern Arts Factory - Drama

Every Thursday, we have a drama session with Jade from the Northern Arts Factory. 

We have been working on using our face and body language during our latest session and put these together in Freeze Frames with transitions.
