Nursery (Pre-School)

We warmly welcome enquiries about registering your child for a Nursery place at St Malachy's. Our nursery offers a caring, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can begin their learning journey with confidence and joy.

Session Options

We offer flexible nursery sessions to suit the needs of our families:

• Morning Session: 9:00am – 12:00pm
• Afternoon Session: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
• Full-Day Session: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Intake Dates

There are three intakes each year:

• September
• January
• April (Easter)

Children can start nursery in the term following their third birthday.

Funding

All children are entitled to 15 funded hours per week, and some families may be eligible for 30 funded hours depending on circumstances. Please contact the school office for guidance on eligibility.

Additional Hours

Extra nursery sessions can be arranged with school at a cost of £15 per 3-hour session.
