PARISH LINKS
OUR PARISH CHURCH
Our Parish Church is St. Malachy's. Monsignor Michael McQuinn, our parish priest, visits school on a regular basis. He celebrates Mass for the whole school and each class takes it in turn to visit St. Malachy's Church to attend Mass at different times during the school year.
Our weekend Masses are 5pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.

ATTENDING MASS IN CHURCH
We often have Mass in school celebrated by Father Michael but at certain times of the school year we walk to church for Mass. We love joining the parishioners and being in our beautiful church for mass!
DEANERY PROJECT
We work closely with the other schools within our Calderdale catholic Partnership and have organised several 'travelling projects' which make their way round the different parishes linked to our schools for the parishioners to see. This year our Deanery Project focused on the power of prayer.
Each school took on a different prayer and created art work to represent it in different ways. Some of our children, along with Mrs Hodges, read at Mass when the project was in our parish so that the parishioners understood the purpose of the display and who created it. Lots of them went to look, spent some time reflecting on it and gave excellent feedback.
FIRST SACRAMENTS
Some of our Sacramental preparation takes place within our school and some within the parish.
Any parents/carers wanting to enquire about Reconciliation, First Holy Communion or Confirmation need to contact Monsignor McQuinn to register.
